N.C. Home Inspector Standards of Practice
The North Carolina Home Inspector Standard of Practice is a list of the items that all Licensed Home Inspectors must include in their report as well as items that are excluded from the Inspection.
Please know that our goal is not to inspect the bare minimum of items required by the State Licensing Board but to perform the best possible inspection and documentation of the inspection in our reports. We never settle for the minimum that the State requires and neither should you!
During 16 years as a General Contractor before working as a Home inspector we evaluated the inspection findings on thousands of homes and know that missing items that seem minor can result in extensive damage to the home. Our goal is to to insure that you have the best understanding of the condition of your home!
